Mirror and Clock Decorating

I have been busy. Between the garden preparations and a bit of remodeling (fixing) the bathroom I have been absent from blogging.
You could say I am sprinkling a bit of new decoration around the house. I have two old gold (ugh) mirrors I have wanted to change up. So instead of the easy spray paint I chose to use up my extra craft paint.
I had a bit of sticky problems with tape  ;-)

I managed to paint the mirror and it was so
nice to see it um NOT gold LOL!
Now one more mirror to go (maybe tomorrow).

 My clock project.
This was a big sign I got for 50 cents at a rummage sale.
Masonite. My colors for dinette is red and black and white.
I guess you could say red white and moo?
I painted the sign red.
Then I painted crackle except where numbers will be.
When dry I painted an antique white and let it dry and crackle.
Then I printed off French numbers.
I traced them on and painted them black.
You can see the red through the crackle cracks.
I like it. Not too much but a nice accent.
I still have to sponge the edge with burnt umber.
It will give an old world look to it.
Next was three trucks of dirt for our garden.
My arms still hurt from raking it level.
Stay creative an go with the flow!

Wood Loveseat progress

The glue is drying tonight on this loveseat.

Later tonight he will be filling screw heads and such. This project is one of those extra time ones when an extra hour goes into this.
It will be given 4 coats of marine varnish to weather well out by our garden. A place to relax and sip lemonade.

How many holes are drilled here?

There are 400 holes for router bits!
This board gets set in a cabinet for easy get to.
Not all of our bits are in there by the way.
This was an update to let you know I am still here.
Busy right now doing an order and hubby has
4 custom carved wood signs to do.
Busy is good!
Hope you are busy too.
